It began when Aquiline Kitutu Makoi and Shose Marehe Masuki settled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in Moshi, Tanzania. After Aquiline passed away in 1958, Shose’s enduring strength and nurturing spirit preserved this sanctuary. Today, we carry her name as a tribute to the woman who held this land together, inviting you to share in our history.
